I so much appreciated Amanda at the Hotel check in for listening to us and offering an upgrade, with no charge, when she heard that we were there for our 20 years anniversary.
The overwhelming smoke in our room even though it was to be a "non- smoking" room. Also, the bathtub/jacuzzi was nice and powerful but the chaulking around the tub was pealing off and looked dirty.
My IPad dissappered while I wasinStarbucks.
Food at the Fez was excellent and moderatly priced. Great dinner and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pillows were hard and so were the matteresses.
I stay here whenever I travel from San Diego to points north. Montana, Glenwood Springs, Co., And Moab, Utah. I vacation twice a year for six weeks each time, and find the Casa Blanca to be an excellent place to relax. The pool is the best of any other place I stay. I sometimes return on my way back to unwind before heading off to Alaska to work for four or five months. Looking forward to this spring. See you then.
Had a good experience. No problems.
The late check out is only 11 am. I would have a 2 pm late check out even would have paid more.
We used the hotel as a stopover on a usa tour. It was excellent throughout. We arrived early and spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool and then enjoyed a great meal in the Chinese restuarant. The room rate was very cheap subsidised no doubt by the casino, but the standard throughout is high.
Not much this trip. Stayed there a couple years ago & stay was much better.
The buffet was lousy, the food had been under heat lamps for a long time and was old and not fresh tasting & very limited selection. The gambling machines were terrible, not even giving any bonus games or letting you win a little bit to keep your attention. No coffee maker in the room. Staff was too pre-occuppied with talking to each other rather than see why I was standing there waiting to ask a question. Will not be staying at this hotel my next trip through Mesquite.
We like the convenience of staying in Mesquite, as it is about half-way between our home and our California destinations. The prices are certainly better, and the traffic less congested, than in Las Vegas. We took our handicapped step-son with us this past week. We had tried to make clear to him our room number and, the location of the room, as well as how to get there. When we allowed him to go down to the casino alone, he became disoriented, and he returned with the help of two very kind and smiling Security officers. We so appreciate their help. Afterward, I wndered if I should have tipped them. I'm sorry I didn't thnk about that.
We appreciate your giving us rooms near the elavator, but there is still a long walk to get me and our luggage into our room. It is painful for me to walk, so the walk clear through the casino, to the elavator in the tower, and up to our room is difficult for me. Also, I don't feel comfortable walking through a large group of people who can scrutenize my painful and ungraceful efforts to make it through. It would make me very happy if you had rooms where we could drive up near the building and walk a short distance to our room.
Location, clean, convienent, gaming, food outlets
Check in staff did not seem very friendly, rather cold greeting, in this economy they need some personality!!
It was the perfect midway point for our trip to Salt Lake City from the Los Angeles area. We spent the night, dined well, had a good rest & continued our trip to Utah the next day. Stayed again on our way home from Salt Lake City.
.We didn't win!
It was a relaxing get away except for the remarks below.
Meant to tell the hotel clerk that in room 2054 the shower did not work properly. Also we were told that if we played at the bar that the drinks were complimentery. After playing for a while we were told that if we didn't play at least a dollar a game we would be charged for the drinks. We were not told this up front. Not good!
The slots are set to tight, they don,t even get close to paying out any thing. It is no fun playing when you have no chance of winning any thing. If you want people to come back or to recommend your hotel casino You need. To let your slots pay out more, I heard a lot of people Saying they would never come back because of the slots being to Tight. And the rooms need to be cleaner the night stands were dusty and the baseboards We're dirty, and we didn't have enough towels,I think you need new Management who knows how to operate a hotel and casino.
The pool was the only good thing about this Hotel
No coffee pots in room rooms are out dated and beds are old and lumpy. Front desk workers are not friendly.
We love the pool and the bar by the pool. The food was great. The room was in a great spot for us having small kids along.
We wish there were a few more choices for food.
You can tell rooms are getting run down, tv was from 1970 and the beds were so lumpy it was hard to sleep. The door was broken so you could see out in the hall on the bottom half. It was ok but next time will try and find something nicer.
